Defects in plaster work-how to repair.
Plaster work have these main defects,

Cracks--
- Structural Defects in building.

Pitting and Blowing--
- Slacking
- Hydration of Cement
- Not proper curing
- Not proper key to hold.
- More moisture in wall surface.
- More thermal changes.
- Rapid drying
- Not have proper time gap between plaster coats.
Repairing of plaster ---
- Hair cracks should be repaired from pop.
- Others cracks can be repaired from the mix of Plaster of Paris : Cement : Sand.(1:2:7)
Before Wall Plaster Work-Its should be.
Plaster is protect your wall to defect but if you have a problem with your plaster work,so we should be ensure about its quality.
Before Wall Plastering-
- Wall must be clean and free from all dust ,loose material ,grease ,oil etc.
- Wall must be wet for a few hours before plastering work.
- Apply a net mesh on RCC and brick joints.
- Plaster must be apply in three coats.
- Every coats of plaster must have a gap of 3-5 day for proper set and shrinkage.
- All Plaster shrinks on drying.
- First coat should be strong.A strong coat should not be applied on weaker coat.
- All electrical conduit pipe fitting must will be completed.
- Plumbing work is also be completed in case of kitchen and Bathroom.
- Its should be uniform.
- Check proper on all edges on its first coat.
- Ceiling plaster should be first and after start wall plaster.
- Plaster mortar should not be too wet (watered).
- Plastering Sand should not be too fine.
How to check the strength of concrete from the machine.
Steps for check the strength of Concrete-
- Fill with concrete in a 6"x 6" cube of 2 set of 3Cubes.(This is shown in pic with dated and grade of concrete.)
- Next day open mold and pored it into water tank (Cube)
- Start the machine.
- After 7 Days Put the cube in machine and check the reading.

How to start Your Plot Marking.
Survey of plot is most important and first part of building construction,it should be in Engineer's supervision or in talented mason.First you read and understand the plan drawing with the help of engineer/Architect.

Before starting marking of plot/site ,you should be organised a small prey of God (Pooja) and invites friends and relative.

- Now next work is done from Mason ,Labor and Engineer.
Be ensure about all layout and check dimension if you have not Engineer for Supervision.

- Never start your construction in Rainy Season ,actually start after rainy reason or 3-4 months before rainy reason.
- Take quotation of material from market after starting the excavation or footing work.Its will be very helpful to find material and its save your cost of construction.
- Apply for electric connection ,Nagar Nigam registration and all other govt registration if any.
- Never use less than 12mm steel/Reinforcement in column in main building structure.
- For Column,Beam and Slab use minimum ratio 1:2:4 in residential house.
- Use branded items for electrification because local material is very risky and wants more maintenance.
- Never make foundation on filled soil, first make foundation of building after start its soil filling work.
- On Ground floor , use 150 mm sand filling below flooring.Its gives more and very effective strength for flooring.
- For wooden work,Search more and starting of home construction.
- Use over burned bricks for foundation (brick ballast concrete).
- Load bearing wall should be at least 9 inch.
